Key Stage 4 PE: what your child learns
In Years 10 and 11, students develop tactics for team and individual games and improve technique in activities such as athletics, gymnastics and dance. They tackle outdoor and adventurous activities in a range of environments, evaluate their performances against previous ones, and keep playing sport regularly outside school. The emphasis shifts to personal fitness and a healthy lifestyle that teenagers can sustain after leaving school.
